The Rotoweld 3.0 is an advanced fully automated welding system that uses the power of AI software to dramatically boost pipe spool productivity and quality. From root to cap, this machine utilizes machine intelligence to track the weld puddle and make real-time adjustments to account for fit-up and material inconsistencies. Welding times are roughly 1min per 1in of pipe OD for standard wall and 1.5min per 1in of pipe OD of for heavy wall. The Rotoweld has computerized control and robotic arms, to deliver high-quality welds on cylindrical workpieces. Rotoweld 3.0 Twin Bay

The Rotoweld 3.0 Twin Bay is all about efficiency and arc-on time. Make loading, unloading, grinding and aligning time losses disappear with the twin bay. Prepare your next spool on the second bay while the Rotoweld is completing a job on the first bay. This is how you’ll accomplish up to 500 dia inch in a single 10-hour shift.

Torches & Wire Feeder

Two Welding Torches, each with its own wire spools and gas shielding. One torch for root pass and one for filler and cap passes. This allows the machine to perform multiple welding processes based on application.

Robotic Torch Arm

Self-positioning welding arm with no human intervention needed. Machine vision system and AI software allows arm to make weld adjustments in real-time. This takes out any human error in torch alignment and torch welding angle for each joint.

High Torque Positioners

Minimal setup time with the self-aligned design. Positioner communicates with computer for accurate speed & position control. Working range of 3"- 42" OD pipe. 3,000lbs capacity with 50,000 lbs/in torque. These are direct-drive electric positioners built in-house and tailored to pipe welding automation with zero backlash and accurate speed control.

Software

With Rotoweld's in-house Ai software, Perfect Pass IQ, the machine can analyze the weld and make adjustments in realtime including motion adjustments to account for varying pipe fitup conditions. This means no more operator dependent welding, just let the machine make the perfect weld!
